Gonzalo Mosquera AICP, LEED AP

Gonzalo “Gonzo” Mosquera brings more than 15 years of experience in urban planning and urban design, sustainable development consulting, with both public and private clients in the United States and overseas. Gonzalo has focused his career on identifying progressive community design and planning strategies that create value through better real estate development. He has rigorously researched leading edge issues of sustainability, New Urbanism, LEED programs and processes, and Smart Growth techniques, to balance innovation with real world implementation in mainstream real estate. His publications include the impacts of energy efficiency through urban design - Energy Performance and Traditional Neighborhood Design; Proceedings for the Passive Solar and Low Energy Architecture (PLEA) conference, Lisbon Portugal, 1998. Mr. Mosquera has a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning, and Master's degrees in both Architecture and Urban Planning.
